CGI animators should unionize next. normally, their jobs would be too precarious to strike, since studios would replace them without a second thought, but if it’s part of this larger general film strike, they might finally have meaningful power to better their working conditions
if CGI animators unionized, it would kill the MCU. straight up. the the entire business model is built on exploiting CGI animators (i do not care if you’re a fan of marvel. you shouldn’t be, but it should be irrelevant either way)
Harpies (Ἁρπθιαι) were the spirits of the wind who were often depicted as winged women, with the lower bodies of birds in Greek mythology. When the Argonauts came to visit, the winged Boreades (sons of the god of wind, Boreas) gave chase, and pursued the Harpies to the Strophades Islands, where the goddess Iris(goddess of the rainbow)commanded them to turn back and leave the storm-spirits unharmed.
I finally watched Wakanda Forever and (predictably) loved Talokan and these precious idiots. I just know Namora and Attuma grew up rivals and ended up as the best warriors. Attuma being so much taller than Namora is so great bc of how she bosses him around and he just complies kajshdkaj I loveeeeee
(I really love that they keep their skin color in the water, it’s genius that they were true to the comics with the blue skin but only when they’re out of their world)
